BJJ Gis

Shop BJJ gis for training and competition, in adult and kids sizes. Check the brand size chart against your height and weight, and see the care guide below to keep your gi from shrinking too much.

Browse MMA Factory’s BJJ gis from Tatami, Venum, and Viking and choose the cut that suits your build. Sturdy weaves balance weight and strength, firm collars make grip fighting harder, and pre-shrunk cotton helps sizing feel predictable. Reinforced sleeve and pant cuffs add durability without bulk, and you can outfit the family with kids and adult sizes. Round out your kit with apparel and accessories that keep things simple: a rash guard under the jacket, a rank belt that matches your level, and a compact gear bag for clean carry.

Which BJJ gi size should I buy?

BJJ gi sizes (A1, A2, A3 and so on for adults, C sizes for kids) vary by brand, so use your height and weight against the brand chart and read the fit notes for each model. If you sit between sizes, pick the larger option and fine-tune with a warm wash. After a cold wash and hang dry, sleeves should land near the wrist and pants near the ankle.

How do you care for the gi without heavy shrink?

Wash cold, hang dry, and avoid high heat. Turn the jacket inside out to reduce pilling at the collar, and loosen the drawcords before washing so they do not cinch. Wash the belt and rash guard separately to keep colours clean and keep the jacket and pants looking sharp.

What gi do I need for my first class?

Most beginners start with a plain white or navy gi and a white belt. Ask your coach whether your club has colour rules, and whether you need a competition-legal gi for tournaments.

Gi, rash guard or both?

Gi training uses a gi and belt, often with a rash guard underneath. No-gi training uses a rash guard and shorts or spats. Browse our rash guards for no-gi gear.
