Use your height and weight against the brand chart, and read the fit notes for each model. If you sit between sizes, pick the larger option and fine-tune with a warm wash. After a cold wash and hang dry, sleeves should land near the wrist and pants near the ankle.
How do you care for the gi without heavy shrink?
Wash cold, hang dry, and avoid high heat. Turn the jacket inside out to reduce pilling at the collar, and loosen the drawcords before washing so they do not cinch. Wash the belt and rash guard separately to keep colours clean and keep the jacket and pants looking sharp.
