The RS1s, which were first introduced in 2003, made an immediate impact on the boxing world and laid the groundwork for Rival’s success. These gorgeous gloves not only combined comfort, protection, durability, and professional performance, they also made the world aware of Rival’s incredibly inventive Angled Lace Track System. The design of boxing gloves has been revolutionised by this dynamic X-shaped lacing system with a 15° angled lace track, which also offers the best fit and stability in a “lace-up” glove.
